Privacy Policy

How V&B collects, uses and protects personal information, our SMS privacy terms, children's privacy and how to ask us to delete your data.

This Privacy Policy explains how ("V&B", "we", "us" or "our"), located at , collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit (the "Site"), shop with us, join our members' club, or sign up for our emails or text messages. It also explains your choices and rights.

1. Who our Site is for

Our Site, forms, accounts and messages are intended for adults 18 years or older, such as parents, guardians and gift-givers. V&B designs clothing for girls, but we market and sell only to adults.

2. Information we collect

INFORMATION YOU GIVE US:

Contact details: name, email address, mobile phone number, shipping and billing address.
Order details: pieces purchased, sizes, gift messages, monogram initials you choose for a garment.
Membership details: your box tier, the sizes on file for the girls you shop for and, if you choose to give it, a birth month for the birthday box. We do not ask for a child's full name, date of birth or contact details.
Payment information: processed directly by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
Messages and requests: what you send us through our contact form, email, phone or text.
Content you share: anything you choose to send us, such as photos of a piece for a defect claim.

INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY:

Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring site, and similar data.
Cookies and similar technologies: see section 9 and our Cookie Notice.

INFORMATION FROM OTHERS

Service providers that help us run our store (for example, payment, shipping and fulfillment partners) may share order status and delivery information with us.

3. How we use information

To process, make, ship and support your orders, including sending order and delivery updates.
To run your membership, including billing, sizing, member numbers and member benefits.
To send emails and, if you opted in, text messages about drops, early access, the members' club and your orders (see sections 5 and 8).
To respond to your questions and requests.
To improve our Site, pieces and service, and to understand how our Site is used.
To advertise our pieces to adults, including through advertising partners (see section 4).
To prevent fraud, protect our rights and comply with law.

4. How we share information

Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in data are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as described here:

Service providers who act on our behalf, under contracts that limit their use of the data: our store and messaging platform (GoHighLevel / LeadConnector), our payment processor, our production partners (who receive your name, shipping address and order details to produce and ship your pieces), shipping carriers, email and website hosting, and analytics providers.
Advertising partners, if we use advertising cookies or pixels, may receive device and browsing data. Under some state laws this can be considered "sharing" or "selling" for targeted advertising. You can opt out (section 7).
Legal and safety: when required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of V&B, our customers or others.
Business transfers: in connection with a merger, sale or transfer of our business, subject to this Policy.

5. Text messaging (SMS) and mobile information

If you opt in to receive text messages from V&B, we collect your mobile number and your consent to receive messages. We use them only to send the messages you agreed to (drop alerts, early access, members' club news, and order, delivery and customer care messages) and to honor your requests (STOP, HELP).

Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in data are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Our messaging platform provider processes your number only to deliver our messages on our behalf. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP. See our SMS Terms.

6. Children's privacy (COPPA)

Our Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our forms, accounts and messages are for adults 18 and older. When a parent or guardian gives us sizing or gift details about a child, we collect only what we need to make and ship the garment, and we do not ask for the child's full name, photo or contact details.

If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us at and we will delete it promptly. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), including the amended COPPA Rule.

7. Your privacy rights and choices

CHOICES FOR EVERYONE

Emails: unsubscribe using the link in any email.
Texts: reply STOP to any message.
Cookies: adjust your browser settings or use the cookie banner on our Site.
Account and membership details: update them in your account or by contacting us.
Deletion: to ask us to delete your personal information, email with the subject "Delete my data", write to us at , or call . We confirm when it is done and keep only what the law requires (such as order records for tax).

RIGHTS UNDER U.S. STATE PRIVACY LAWS

Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states with consumer privacy laws), you may have the right to:

Know / access the personal information we have about you, and receive a copy in a portable format.
Correct inaccurate personal information.
Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep for tax purposes).
Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted (cross-context behavioral) advertising.
Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics).
Appeal a decision we make about your request, where your state provides that right.
Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): In the past 12 months we have collected the categories of personal information described in section 2 (identifiers, commercial information, internet activity, geolocation inferred from IP address, and the content of your messages) for the purposes in section 3, and disclosed them to the categories of recipients in section 4. If we use advertising cookies, the "sharing" of identifiers and internet activity with advertising partners may occur; you can opt out. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described (see section 10).

Your Privacy Choices / Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: to opt out, use the "Your Privacy Choices" link in our footer, email with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share", or call . We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as an opt-out request.

How to make a request: email or call . We will verify your request by matching information you provide with what we hold, and respond within the time required by law (generally 45 days). You may use an authorized agent, who must provide proof of authorization. To appeal a decision, reply to our response with "Appeal" in the subject line.

8. Marketing messages

We send marketing emails and texts only to adults who signed up. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Text messages are sent only with your express written consent, as described in our SMS Terms. Consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of purchase.

10. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy: for example, order records for as long as required for tax and accounting (typically up to 7 years), membership records while your membership is active and for a reasonable time after, and marketing data until you unsubscribe.

11. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and payment processing by a PCI-compliant processor. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Where information is processed

We are based in the United States and our Site is intended for U.S. customers. Some of our service providers, including our makers, may process order and shipping information in other countries, under contracts that require them to protect it.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. The "Last updated" date shows when it last changed. Material changes will be posted on this page and, where required, sent to you by email.
