V&B, the Paris house for sisters

OUR STORY

A house built for two sisters

V&B began in 2020, when the world shut down and Justina Miller finally started the clothing line she had always dreamed of. Now it returns as a Paris house for her two girls, and their mom.

THE FOUNDER

Meet Justina, the mom behind the house

Before V&B, Justina was a childcare teacher for infants and toddlers. She had always dreamed of a clothing line of her own, and of taking her girls to Paris one day.

Then 2020 came. COVID-19 shut the world down, work stopped and everything closed. With nowhere to go, the dream finally had room. She researched where to start, and the first V&B piece was a floral two-piece set.

Her own mother kept one good wool coat for twenty years. It taught her that the pieces worth keeping are made well and saved for the moments that matter. That is why every V&B piece is numbered and made only once.

After the first run, V&B went quiet on purpose, to find the right makers and build a house that lasts. Six years later, it is back to show what the break was for.

Justina

THE MUSE OF VETTA'S LINE

Meet Vetta, creative, sassy, smart

Vetta reaches for vintage streetwear and stays away from bright colours. Let her dress herself and you see exactly who she is.

Justina used to dress the girls identically, until the day Vetta refused a matching dress: “I’m not a baby, and I’m not Bella.” That was the day the house stopped matching and started designing for each girl.

Her line is vintage streetwear in noir and gold.

THE MUSE OF BELLA'S LINE

Meet Bella, caring, imaginative, fearless

Bella lives in comfortable streetwear with a lot of personality, and she always finishes a look with accessories. Nothing tight, nothing fitted, nothing bright.

She was the one who asked to pick her own clothes, which is how the house rule began: she picks, Mom approves.

Her line is relaxed, easy and made for accessories.

TOGETHER

One palette, two personalities

The girls share the same colours and make them their own, mostly with accessories, which they never agree on. They have argued over the same white shirt, the same black shirt and the sweater that matched someone’s shoes. More than once, it was settled by rock, paper, scissors.

That is the whole idea of V&B: complement, never match. One thread ties the family together. Everything else is her own.

Justina hopes her girls feel inspired, confident and stylish every time they wear V&B, and she wants the same for yours. Vetta and Bella wear V&B; they never sell it. We speak to parents, never to children.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

The house stands for

Five promises behind every piece.

Sisters can be different

Close and different. Each girl has her own line, and Maman has hers.

Complement, never match

One thread ties the family together. Everything else is her own.

Numbered, never restocked

Each drop is made once. When it closes, it is gone.

Made to order

Every piece is made after you buy it, by a specialist maker.

Quiet, never loud

You know it is V&B by the drawing and the cut, not a giant logo.

V&B wordmark, the Paris house for sisters and their mom
